What is Physique 57?
Physique 57 is a 57 minute series of exercises that strengthens and stretches every muscle group in the body. Using isometric movements, a ballet barre and your own body weight for resistance, your muscles will become strong, lean and limber.
I have never tried a Barre or Physique 57 before. Can I do it?
Yes, you can and you should! Physique 57 is a fun way to shape up and lose weight. Beginners are welcome. Make sure you tell your instructor before the class that it is your first time.
I’ve done Barre/Ballet Barre at my previous gym. How is Physique 57 different?
Our classes are superior to other ballet barre exercise methods because of our innovative philosophy of Interval Overload training, precisely choreographed to produce maximum results in minimal time. Interval Overload brings muscles to fatigue and then stretches for relief.

I am out of shape big time. Can I still do it?
Physique 57 is an aerobic activity. You will work at your own pace. We will also encourage you to “go further”. We will bring your heart rate up and down numerous times throughout the class. Doing intervals will help you to get accustomed to the workload. Each time you come in it will feel easier.
Will my arms and legs become bulky if I do Physique 57?
We promise you toned arms and legs and the Physique you desire!
You say that Physique 57 is a full-body cardio workout?
Interval Overload provides the greatest stimulus to the muscle so it changes faster with fewer reps. Result is longer, leaner muscle. It includes cardio exercises. All of our exercises incorporate multiple muscle groups to maximize efficiency and make the choreography more dynamic and exciting. Our teachers are also trained to not just teach, but to also observe results and use client feedback to continuously improve our method. We consider innovation to be one of our most important strengths.
